Old people are so cute

BEIJING, April 2 (UPI) -- A Chinese woman has written more than 500 letters to her husband since he died 14 years ago.

Wan Fengxia, 75, tells her husband about her life, recalls the time they spent together and fills him in on current events, the Beijing Morning Post said. Recent topics include the upcoming Beijing Olympics and the launch of a manned space vehicle.

"My husband used to follow closely such major events both at home and abroad," she said. "I know he would like to know these things."

Wan said that writing the letters has comforted her since her husband's death and when she is too old to write any more she expects to get comfort from re-reading them.

"If I tell people around me all the time about my feelings, they might get bored. But the letters won't," she said.

Wan has donated 68 of her letters to a museum.
