Valentine's Day?
Is Valentine's Day just a commercialized holiday?
What do you think should change or stay the same?
Valentine's Day sometimes is considered a commercialized holiday. With all the big sales on chocolate, Hallmark cards, and flowers. It brings in all the service for stores. I was at Albertson's yesterday night, and I saw a whole bunch of people shopping for some last-minute chocolate and flowers; heart-shaped balloons too. The selves of chocolate were almost all gone, and the flowers too.
What do I think should change? Everything. I don't get the whole point of Valentine's Day. Everyday you spend with your significant other should be a day of love; just like Valentine's Day. We don't need one special day to show off to everyone that we have a significant other. For the people that don't have someone to share Valentine's Day with? It's Singles Awareness Day (SAD). That's sad.... and yes, that was a pun. It's stupid, having couples rubbing it in our faces. I just want to take their love, and shove it up their fucking nose.
