The girlfriends and I went camping this past weekend! It was my first time camping and at first, I was really hesitant. However, after this weekend, I can honestly say that camping wasn't that bad and that I might even take my brother camping next time.
So the night before we picked up Ave in LA and went to Jasmines to sleep over; since Jasmine lives the closest to the campground. Amy and I didn't get to Jasmine's house until 3:30am though and we didn't sleep until 5am. However, Amy and I still woke up at 8am.. which is ridiculous

Left Jasmine's house to go to Food4Less around 1pm even though we had planned to leave at 11am. I don't think we'll ever leave on time with us. Bought our groceries, but we had forgotten to get skewers and a lot of other stuff we needed for cooking the food, so we went back to Jasmine's house to gather everything. Then we were on our way up the mountain!
Driving up the mountain wasn't bad at all, but then again I was going 30 mph up the mountain. Got to the campsite and it was so nice! We took everything out of the car and started to set up the tent. Then we decided to go on a little walk around the campsite before we ate.

Going to sleep was horrible. Oh man, Amy and I were freezing and we kept wiggling around. Woke up around 8am again and Amy and I started the fire to cook breakfast. Made some scrambled eggs, spam, tortillas, and ramen!

Some woman went up to Ave and Amy and told them how she was proud of us coming to camp by ourselves. And she told them that she wished her daughters were like us if she had daughters. Then we packed up and drove to Jenks Lake! It's such a pretty lake and there were a lot of people fishing and boating there. It was so serene and peaceful, and the air was so crisp. We took a lot of pictures of the lake but before we knew it, it was already pretty late and so we began our journey down the mountain.
Got back to Jasmine's house and unloaded some stuff and went to get some frozen yogurt! Then drove back to DBar. Sigh~ It was very tiring and we're all sore, but it was totally worth it.
