ATI Radeon HD 5970, World’s Fastest Graphics Card

AMD has announced the availability of the world’s fastest graphics card: the ATI Radeon HD 5970, a gaming high-end card which is among the first to provide full-support for DirectX 11. The ATI Radeon HD 5970 also supports ATI Eyefinity multi-display technology, and it sports the ATI Overdrive technology, a technique which allows the card to unlock overclocking potential and to access each power-bit that it can offer. This card is simply amazing, and it features a great design with an advanced fan technology and an impressive vapor chamber, as well as an incredible exhaust that keeps the card cool no matter what.

The ATI Radeon HD 5970 features a compute power of 5 TeraFlops and it’s based on a 40nm core with 3,200 stream processors, and it can reach a max resolution of 7680×1600 by expanding it to three displays. The fastest graphics card in the world is now available for consumers at the special price of $599, however, you can opt for Alienware Area-51, Area-51 ALX and Aurora desktops if you are looking for a great gaming computer.
