Big Bang's 1 song "Lies" was a glorious achievement that boosted the group's career to a new high. Now gearing up for more conquests, Big Bang comes back with their second mini album Hot Issue. Standing right at the center of their success is the group's leader, G-Dragon. This talented 20-year-old first displayed his huge potential as a singer/songwriter for their debut album. In Hot Issue, G-Dragon explores his gift of creativity well beyond anyone's expectation by producing and writing the lyrics for all six of its tracks.

The principle track "Last Goodbye" (Track 6), written and composed by G-Dragon, offers a catchy blend of trance hip-hop beats and G-Dragon's unique refreshing melody and lyrics. The song also features a mix of powerful raps by G-Dragon and T.O.P and melodic vocals from Tae Yang and Dae Sung. Another track that shows promising signs of becoming a hit is CRAZY DOG (Track 5) which features distinctive synthesizer sounds and sampling from Seo Tai Ji & Boys' signature hit "In My Fantasy." CRAZY DOG is poised to appeal to both the older generation of Seo Tai Ji & Boys fans and the younger generation of Big Bang enthusiasts. Other highlights include the Shibuya-kei-style "A Fool" (Track 2) and the slow mid-tempo I DON'T UNDERSTAND (Track 4) composed by G-Dragon in collaboration with S-Kush of Stony Skunk. With so much quality to offer, Hot Issue expects to blast off with a big bang!
