Smash: New Boyband
This 6 member boy band known as Smash, from TN Entertainment is supposedly "extremely talented."
The 6 members, Sae Gae (or World), Chun Woo, Han Bang, Jerry, Hiro (or Hero) and Naruro (or Naru) are not only pretty boys and dancers but also composers and lyricists. Or so the press release states.
Smash will debut on Mnet M Countdown on the 14th (later today in Korea) and their first mini-album and MV will be released on the 19th.
Will these 6 rookies Smash the competition or make us want to Smash our speakers? What do you all think?

SYP’s Idol radar alert was blaring off this weekend with the debut of two new boybands - SMASH and DNT. Wow! Two new boybands in one weekend. That is sure to make fangirls go crazy.
Anyway, DNT (Dragon N Tiger), the new 4-membered dance/ballad boyband, made its debut on Aug. 12 and released their MV on Aug. 14. They are from Orange Entertainment and are labeled to be a very provacative group, presenting a fusion of dance and ballad - but can these two mix?
Well, see for yourself with their new title song “Two People and Thereafter” that presents this fusion. Dragon is in charge of dance and Tiger is in charge of vocals. I do like their concept. They start off in an endearing ballad with powerful vocals, then suddenly switch at 2:20 to hip-pop beats and rap. The song provides unique intervals for the Dragon to show off their explosive dance moves.

SMASH, a new boyband from ex-HOT Tony Ahn’s entertainment company, has finally made its debut. They released their MV for their title song “Emergency” and they also made their debut performance Aug.15 on Mnet M! Countdown.
Their title song “Emergency” is a very retro 1990’s song that hit the fast forward button to the 21st contemporary, making this strange synthesis sound new and fresh. Their dance is flawless in their live performance and they seem to be like birds in flight with their crane-like moves on stage, which corresponds to the lyrics. Although they lip-sync (or not?) for ther debut performance, their dance routine is powerful, intricate, and impressive. They truly make the stage their own.
